Datasheet: Oxygen Sensor InPro6800 Gas / InPro6950 Gas

Source: Mettler-Toledo AG, Process Analytics, Inc.

The METTLER TOLEDO amperometric oxygen measurement system allows reliable measurements in processes where controlled inert gas atmospheres have to be applied. It provides a competitive replacement opportunity for costly paramagnetic or galvanic measurement systems. Typical applications are inertization control in centrifuges, storage tanks, mills; monitoring of oxygen limit in exhaust gases of fermentation vessels and oxygen determination in synthesis off-gases.

Description

Modular design saves time and money
Replacement of the anode/cathode assembly has been made simple with METTLER TOLEDO's state-of-the-art interior sensor design, thereby reducing maintenance costs. No complicated service procedures - the quick-disconnect interior body can be replaced in less than five minutes!

High process reliability guaranteed
The exclusive T-6800 Gas membrane body was especially designed for gaseous oxygen measurements under harsh conditions.

Comprehensive system components
METTLER TOLEDO offers the complete system required for reliable measurements tasks in hazardous areas. Retractable housings offer the possibility to insert or retract the sensor from a continuously operating process. Expensive process down times can be eliminated. The unique "Plug and Play" concept and the modularity of the M700 transmitter provides flexible solutions precisely tuned to the measuring task.

Features and Benefits

Utilization without costly gas conditioning system
Non-polarographic solutions require expensive gas conditioning systems. METTLER TOLEDO's membrane covered polarographic measurement technology allows direct "real in-line" installations; sensor measures effective oxygen value of the specific process. The sensor is not affected by exposure to water, water vapor or most organic solvents.

Simple air calibration
The sensor can easily calibrated in air - costly calibration gases are eliminated.

Easy maintenance within five minutes
Change of membrane and sensor inner body can be carried out very quickly. A simple membrane body replacement takes just five minutes and can be conducted on site by the user.

Modularity keeps costs at a minimum
The modular nature of the transmitter means that you only order the components you need.
