Jarden Life Sciences To Debut At World's Largest Cold Chain Conference

New Business Will Leverage Experience In Primary and Secondary Healthcare Packaging and Thermal Science Expertise of The Jarden Corporation Family of Companies.

Building on the strength of leading life science brands like Jarden Plastic Solutions, ENVIROCOOLER, and PROPAK and a depth of expertise from its extended family of companies, Jarden Corporation announces the formation of Jarden Life Sciences, a new business group dedicated to customized primary, secondary, and off-the-shelf thermal packaging for the life sciences industry.

Jarden Life Sciences (JLS) provides a unified source for primary and secondary thermal packaging as well as a suite of technical services, including thermal modeling, packaging qualification, ambient temperature profile analysis, and 6-Sigma process improvement analysis.

“Assembling the right set of solutions and resources for the most effective transport of medical product has always been the responsibility of the customer,” said Chris Scherzinger, who heads up the Jarden Life Sciences group of companies. “With Jarden Life Sciences, customers now have a dedicated team of experts and a vast range of resources to develop end-to-end solutions and packaging that will ensure proper transport, increased efficiency, and reduced costs.”

Jarden Life Sciences will be exhibiting at the 11th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Logistics Global Forum in Chicago at booth 406. Forum attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Jarden Life Science’s approach. Additionally, Jarden Life Sciences will be offering a No-Cost, 6-Sigma Assessment to the first 10 customers, with the expectation that they can significantly improve any company’s current practices.

“We’re very excited to make our debut at the Global Forum, because so many people are familiar with our family of brands – Jarden Plastic Solutions, ENVIROCOOLER, and many of the other innovative Jarden brands behind our group of companies. ”said Scherzinger. “But this also gives us a platform to show our strengths as solution-driven innovators who ensure the safe and efficientdelivery of temperature sensitive products.”
