CPHI Barcelona Announces Pharma Award Finalists

Finalists span twelve categories with awards for Accelerating innovations, new manufacturing approaches, improved sustainability, best start-up initiative and breakthrough digital technologies

Barcelona: CPHI Barcelona announces the finalists for the upcoming CPHI Pharma Awards, which will be hosted on the opening day (24^th October, 2023) of the world’s largest pharma event at the Fiera Barcelona.

The shortlist was whittled down from more than 180 entries across 12 categories. Innovations cover the full pharmaceutical supply chain and feature many of pharma’s biggest names and breakthrough companies.

Since inception in 2004, the CPHI Pharma Awards have celebrated pharma’s brightest individuals and companies, with winners selected for making a contribution to driving the industry forward through people, products and performance. The 2023 edition marks the 20th anniversary and has introduced three new categories, acknowledging the remarkable wave of innovation that has engulfed the industry.

This year’s finalists include companies that led by example in sustainable manufacturing, manufacturers and innovators that developed new technologies to advance drug discovery, development and manufacturing, as well as honouring tomorrow’s transformational digital solutions and philanthropic initiatives. Finally, the prestigious CEO of the year category will celebrate this year’s most exemplary leader.

All entries were extensively evaluated by an expert panel, who collectively bring decades of expertise from big pharma, consultancy, regulatory, market intelligence and academia.

The winners will be unveiled at an invite-only drinks and networking reception in Hall Botanica (East Entrance, next to Hall 3), Fira Barcelona Gran Via, with a 500 strong guest list of VIPs, nominees, and senior stakeholders.
