Our products let you save time, prevent errors, and increase productivity. ReddyMix™ Master Mix, our premier product contains all essential components for PCR except for your template and primers. And, the ReddyMix format contains a loading dye that allows you to place PCR products directly onto gels for electrophoresis, eliminating the need to add loading dye. Master Mixes come in a variety of options, like a Magnesium Chloride concentration between 1.5 and 4.0mM, a 1.1x and 2x strength, and the flexibility of multiple pack sizes. In order to permit robotic set-up of PCR, we have recently developed a Hot-Start PCR enzyme, Thermo-Start DNA Polymerase, which had the added advantage of greatly reducing non-specific PCR product formation. In addition, we offer Hi-Fidelity Master Mixes, and a unique RT-PCR kit, sensitive down to femtograms levels of total RNA.

To complement our PCR reagent line, ABgene also provides the scientific community with an extensive line of plastic consumables, including the Thermo-fast 384 well PCR plate. 96 well plates are available in a variety of formats, all of which fit nearly every thermal cycler. One of these formats, a low-profile design, has been developed to suit those using reduced reaction volumes. In addition to plates, we also offer the more traditional strips and individual tubes as well. Our Streptavidin and Carboxy plates are also very popular and will tolerate a wide variety of conditions. For the ultimate in convenience and efficiency, ABgene offers the above-mentioned Master Mixes pre-aliquoted in any of our PCR plastics. We also offer storage plates (in both 96 and 384 well formats) and our 96 well electrophoresis gel system. All of our products have been designed to increase performance and decrease time needed in the lab to get results.

To round out our complete line of products dedicated to supporting high-throughput operations, ABgene has developed an Automated Laboratory Heat Sealer that can be fully integrated into robotic systems. The ALPS is controlled by a programmable logic controller, and will accept RS232 protocols. The ALPS can seal 4,000 plates for PCR, storage, or transportation without user intervention. Different seals are available that can be peeled or pierced recover samples. A manual Heat-Sealer is also available.
