The Ultra-HTS system is a multimode assay detection system that operates in a 1536-well microplate format and can run four major detection modes. These modes include fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, and luminescence. This system has up to 8 logs of linear dynamic range. It focuses the light source into individual wells instead of spreading the light across an entire plate, increasing the potential signal-to-noise, and high sensitivity can be reached with assay volumes to 2 µL.
