FLUOstar OPTIMA F - Microplate Fluorimeter
The FLUOstar OPTIMA F is a fully upgradeable microplate fluorimeter for the following detection modes:
Fluorescence Intensity - including FRET
Time-Resolved Fluorescence - including DELFIA®
Wide Range of Applications
The FLUOstar OPTIMA F can perform fluorescence, FRET and time-resolved fluorescence based assays in all plate formats, including 384-well format for a wide range of life science assays. Some of the many applications possible with the FLUOstar OPTIMA F include calcium screening, DNA quantitation, G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) studies, Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) testing, europium based assays, and many more.
FLUOstar OPTIMA F provides full spectrum excitation energy and allows performing measurements in the range from 240 - 740 nm or even up to 900 nm. The FLUOstar OPTIMA F has sixteen filter wheel positions and protocols can be programmed to read up to eight fluorophores per protocol.
Upgradeability
The FLUOstar OPTIMA F can be fully upgraded with additional detection modes including luminescence, UV/Vis absorbance and fluorescence polarization as well as reagent injectors, extended incubation up to 60°C, gas vent connection and much more.
Robot Compatibility
Due to BMG LABTECH´s standardized microplate reader footprint and robotic software interface, the FLUOstar OPTIMA F can be easily integrated into all existing robotic systems via DDE or ActiveX interface. The Stacker with a 50 plate capacity and optional barcode reader can also be integrated with the FLUOstar OPTIMA F for medium throughput plate handling.
Software Package
The FLUOstar OPTIMA F is backed up by an intuitive reader Control Software and industry-leading MARS Data Analysis Software. MARS has full graphing capability, FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliance, and a full suite of bioanalysis functions built in: one click calculations of S/N, %CVs, standard deviations, Z', well-scanning visualization, Lineweaver-Burk plots, IC50/EC50, DNA quantitation, enzyme kinetic calculations, Michaelis-Menten kinetic evaluations, regressions, unknown calculations, undilution features, and much, much more.
