This assay detects cAMP, a cell-signaling molecule, in pmol amounts. It is optimized for measurement of adenylyl cyclase activity and for monitoring phospodiesterase activity in either in vitro enzyme preparations or partially purified cell extracts. Each kit contains reagents for two 384-well plates with 40-µL sample volumes, including anti-cAMP antibody, tracer, rescein-labeled cAMP, calibrator cAMP, and FP Assay Buffer. The assay can be scaled down to 8-µL sample volumes with the same performance.
