Biostat®D
Three subsystems comprise every Biostat®D:
• The industrial NEMA 4X stainless steel
instrumentation cabinet designed to
accommodate wet environments.
• The ASME culture vessel.
• The open-frame, compact stainless steel
piping module.
The optimized and proven design of the Biostat®D is the result of thorough analysis of the most required features and functions from over thirty years of process skid design experience. This standardization process dramatically compresses the design time or outright eliminates it, resulting in faster delivery at reduced cost. Each Biostat D is provided with all the necessary probes, pumps, fittings, addition bottles and common vessel accessories for a fully functional system without hidden costs.
The baseline fermentor package includes automatic sterilization, manual backpressure and automatic control of temperature, agitation, pH (liquid acid and base addition), dissolved oxygen (via cascade to airflow, oxygen supplementation and / or agitation), foam, high foam, level measurement and nutrient feed.
