A buffer preparation system prepares buffers to be used in various stages of recovery operations. The buffer prep system contains equipment used for large scale and small scale buffer preparation. Buffer preparation is done using 500 L, 1,500 L and 3,000 L fixed stainless steel vessels.
The buffer prep vessels, associated equipment, instrumentation and piping are contained within a superskid assembly. This superskid design includes all vessels, agitators, vent filters, and in-line mixers in addition to an access platform complete with stairs, material handling systems for each in-line mixer and all instrumentation and piping needed to operate the system and meet user requirements.
The Media Preparation System is used to prepare media, which promotes cell growth in the seed and production bioreactors. The Media Prep System contains equipment used for large scale and small scale media preparation.
