The Beckman Coulter Biomek 4000 Featured At SLAS 2013

Keith Roby, automation application product manager for Beckman Coulter discusses their new product release, the Biomek 4000.

There are several features to note:

• 8 to 12 deck position platform
• Off-deck tool rack holds one gripper, up to 4 tools, and an off-deck liquid waste disposal. This frees up deck space for extra labware, samples, or pipette tips.
• Biomek 1000 pipetting tool, enabling pipette volumes up to 1000 mL.
• Accurate tool these allows you to frame each deck position automatically in 3D.
