You provide the feedstock and target parameters and PBL will identify the most suitable PBL adsorbent and optimal conditions specifically for your application.

Timeline =  approximately 4 to 5 weeks.

With dedicated project managers working alongside scientific experts within the fields of assay development, high throughput screening and downstream processing, PBL’s Quick Screen Projects enable the rapid identification of a PBL chromatography adsorbent specific to your target protein:

• Step 1 - Rapid screening of PBL’s range of chromatography adsorbents in PuraPlate™ 96 column block format;
• Step 2 - Further evaluation of lead candidate adsorbents (2 to 4) selected from screening, using packed columns and automated chromatography workstations;
• Step 3 - High throughput process optimization (HTPO) of chromatography parameters and buffers for a single lead candidate adsorbent. Performance of the final process will be verified by packed column chromatography incorporating the optimal process conditions.
• Deliverables - PBL will provide a comprehensive report describing the adsorbent identified and optimized conditions for use. We will also provide a sample of the selected adsorbent.
