Powder flowability expert Tim Freeman, Managing Director of Freeman Technology will present on the topic of advanced powder characterisation and its relevance in powder processing at Interphex Japan, 27 – 29 June 2012, Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo. Taking place from 13:40 to 14:40 on Wednesday, 27 June, Mr Freeman’s presentation; ‘Advanced measurement and understanding of powder flow properties’, will describe the application of the FT4 Powder Rheometer to predict the in-process behaviour of powders.

The FT4 Powder Rheometer uses patented dynamic methodology, a fully automated shear cell and several bulk property tests, including density, compressibility and permeability to quantify powder properties in terms of flow and processability.
