DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor System For New Brunswick CelliGen BLU 5L Single-Use Bioreactor Datasheet
Source: DASGIP Information and Process Technology GmbH an Eppendorf companySingle-use bioreactor (SUB) solutions gain more and more importance especially in mammalian cell culture applications. Extensive cleaning and sterilization procedures known from conventional bioreactors are eliminated and validation requirements and setup times are highly reduced. Thereby, the use of SUBs significantly decreases the costs in process development and production processes. Furthermore, SUBs highly reduce the risk of cross-contaminations and increase the product and process safety.
Eppendorf’s New Brunswick CelliGen BLU 5L has been engineered for high-density animal cell culture in research or production, using interchangeable, singleuse, stirred-tank vessels. Integration with the DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor System combines the advantages of single-use bioreactors with DASGIP’s precise process control and comprehensive data management.
The New Brunswick CelliGen BLU 5L single-use vessel is a fully instrumented single-use bioreactor. Using the DASGIP Control Software and the various DASGIP modules for monitoring and control with CelliGen BLU bioreactors scientists working in cell culture process development make use of DASGIP’s well-established parallel process control and comprehensive information management while benefitting from the advantages of single-use solutions. The integrated process control software DASGIP Control provides parallel operation of up to 16 bioreactors. All critical process parameters like temperature, agitation, pH and DO are monitored and controlled by preset values, profiles or by triggered automation. DASGIP’s smart and flexible software suite DASware offers matchless options for data management, interconnectivity with 3rd party lab devices, remote control of bioprocesses and design of experiments (DoE).
