DASbox Single-Use Vessel: Single-Use Bioreactor For Parallel Bioprocessing Datasheet

Source: DASGIP Information and Process Technology GmbH an Eppendorf company

Single-use bioreactor (SUB) solutions gain more and more importance especially in mammalian cell culture applications. Extensive cleaning and sterilization procedures known from conventional bioreactors are eliminated and set-up time is highly reduced. Thereby, the use of SUBs significantly decreases the costs in process development and production processes. Furthermore, SUBs highly reduce the risk of cross-contaminationsand increase the product and process safety.

The DASbox single-use vessel was designed as a single-use mini bioreactor solution to accelerate process development in biopharmaceutical and biotechnological applications. It is used with the DASGIP DASbox parallel mini bioreactor system.

The DASbox single-use vessel is a fully instrumented single-use mini bioreactor providing end users with the full functionality of industry bioreactors on the one hand while they are benefitting from the advantages of single-use solutions and parallel operation on the other hand. Used with the stackable, 4-fold DASbox mini bioreactor system it supports the parallel operation of 4 up to 32 and more single-use mini bioreactors. All critical process parameters in applications like cell line selection or protein production can be precisely controlled.
