The media included in this kit are designed for use in general media screen evaluation or as a basis for further development by way of an experimental design approach. The media panel is specifically comprised of four animal component-free, chemically-defined growth media developed independently of each other using a complex Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize the concentration of key components, and work with a range of CHO cell lines.
The design space created by the media panel in this kit provides valuable opportunity to explore further combinations of components that may ultimately lead to an optimized media for the growth and productivity requirements of your CHO cells. A simple mixture experiment can be a useful next step to discovering an optimum combination of the media in the kit to provide maximum performance for you specific cell line.
