BalanCD® MDCK has been designed for producing viruses in Madin-Darby Canine Kidney cells (MDCK) cultures. This medium is chemically-defined and animal-component-free.
This formulation has been specifically designed to support MDCK cells in both adherent static cell culture and microcarrier culture applications.
BalanCD® MDCK is supplied as a ready to use medium and does not require additional attachment proteins or pre-treatment of surfaces for attached growth. It is formulated without L-Glutamine for additional stability.
