This video details the rotation of the Air-Wheel® impeller in slow motion. The first clip demonstrates how the gas bubbles from the main sparger get captured in the air cups to power the impeller rotation. The second clip shows how the vertical motion of the impeller leads to long residence time of microsparger gas bubbles in the vessel, resulting in high mass transfer capability.
