Application Note: Synergy™ 4 Excitation Filter Wheel Management

The Synergy 4 uses its excitation filter wheel for two purposes: a Hole and a Mono LP filter are used to operate the excitation monochromator, and two filter positions are available for filter-based fluorescence. Sometimes, more than two excitation filters are required when running the reader. This Tech Note explains how to use multiple filter wheels on the Synergy 4 without having to restart the instrument each time you want to switch between filter mode and monochromator mode.
