A single-use alternative to conventional stainless steel tank mixing

All mixing is performed in Thermo Scientific HyClone BioProcess Container (BPC®) made with Animal Derived Component Free (ADCF™) Film

S.U.M. Sizes: 50, 200, 500, 1000 and 2000 L.

Also offered is the Docking Station System which allows for the mixing vessel to detach from the mixing motor and control.

Docking Tank Sizes: 200, 500 and 1000 L.

The HyClone® S.U.M. and Docking Station System is based on the same stirred tank mixing technology as the Thermo Scientific HyClone Single-Use Bioreactor (S.U.B.).

This technology allows for powerful and efficient mixing in a closed system provided by a sterile S.U.M. BPC. The S.U.M. is a complete system with an outer support container providing a mixer motor, variable speed mixer control, hanger for a Thermo Scientific HyClone Powdertainer and a mobile skid. In addition, a bottom drain port allows maximum recovery of BPC contents. Open-top mixing in a tank liner is also offered.

Examples of suitable applications include:

• Hydration of powdered media and buffers
• Preparation of solutions from liquid concentrates
• Pooling and mixing of chromatography fractions
• Preparation or resuspension of particulate suspensions

All contact parts are sterile, single-use, Class VI tested and arrive ready for use
