MabSelect SuRe™ LX is an alkali-stabilized, protein A-derived affinity medium with a binding capacity for monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) exceeding that of MabSelect SuRe at longer residence times. As an example, at 6 min residence time, the dynamic binding capacity of MabSelect SuRe LX for human IgG is approximately 60 g/L. This special combination of high binding capacity plus alkaline stability gives manufacturers of MAbs many opportunities to improve process economics and product quality.
Capto™ adhere is a multimodal medium designed for post-protein A purification of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) at process scale. The strong multimodal ligand gives a different selectivity compared to traditional ion exchangers. Capto adhere can remove key contaminants such as DNA, host cell proteins (HCP), leached protein A, dimers and larger aggregates, and viruses in a single step, allowing the design of a two-step process together with MabSelect SuRe. If necessary, Capto adhere can be used in combination with anion- or cation exchange chromatography for polishing, as a second or third step in any MAb purification platform.
Capto SP ImpRes and Capto Q ImpRes are strong cation and strong anion exchangers for the high-throughput intermediate purification and polishing steps of a wide range of biomolecules. Both chromatography media (resins) are part of an expanded high-resolution platform based on the high-flow agarose Capto product line.
