LevTech® WandMixer™ - Mobile Single-Use Mixer (50 - 200 Liters)

LevTech's WandMixer is a flexible and scalable high purity single-use mixer. The mobile floor-based model provides efficient mixing in specially designed sterile single-use bags in volumes 50 - 200 liters. (A stationary, bench-top frame is available for volumes 5 - 75 liters.)

LevTech's WandMixer is a flexible and scalable high purity single-use mixer. The mobile floor-based model provides efficient mixing in specially designed sterile single-use bags in volumes 50 - 200 liters. (A stationary, bench-top frame is available for volumes 5 - 75 liters.)

The Floor-Based WandMixer system consists of:

Drive Motor – The Drive Motor allows the system to mix solutions in disposable bags without seals or bearings, eliminating possible sources of particulate or microbial contamination. One Drive Motor, when mounted on the mobile floor-based frame, can allow the user to mix in multiple disposable mixing bags of various sizes from 50 - 200 liters.

Frame – A mobile stainless steel Frame supports the Drive Motor and motor positioner.

Mixing Bag Retaining Tank – The purpose of the retaining tank is to support the mixing bag. Standard tanks are readily available to accompany bags with standard port configurations. Tanks can be modified to support custom bags.

Elevated Dolly – The stainless steel dolly provides support and mobility for the retaining tank

Mixing Wand and Accessories – The Mixing Wand is inserted into a sleeve sealed inside the sterile mixing bag. Other components are required for secure coupling of the Mixing Wand to the Drive Motor and the Mixing Wand to the Mixing Bag. These components include a Wand Coupler, Clamp, Bushing, and Shaft Adapter (adapter permanently attached to the drive motor).

WandMixer Bags – LevTech's proprietary WandMixer bags are specially designed with a Wand Sleeve configuration operating as the mixing element. The Wand Sleeve configuration is sealed inside the sterile bag. Each bag ships gamma irradiated and is fully disposable. Custom designed bags are available.
