Antibody Screening
The ProteOn system's One-Shot Kinetics approach facilitates the rapid screening of antibodies or antibody-binding targets that exhibit the optimal binding characteristics for particular applications. High-quality data is generated by automatically correcting for baseline drift using a unique real-time injection reference on functionalized surfaces such as anti-Fc Ab or protein A/G [1]. By functionalizing a single ProteOn sensor chip with 36 unique target proteins, information-rich kinetic screening data can be acquired in a high-throughput fashion.
Small Molecule Screening
Combining high-quality kinetic data and high-throughput capabilities on the ProteOn system results in a powerful tool for small molecule screening. The ProteOn system's simultaneous, real-time referencing results in a highly stable baseline that enables accurate detection of small molecule interactions. Binding kinetics for molecules as small as 95 Da are obtained using the ProteOn GLH sensor chip, the first super high density sensor chip specifically designed for small molecule detection and kinetic measurements.
