Thermo-Pierce is a strip of 8 caps which provides a method of withdrawing the reagent mix from within the tube without removing the cap. The unique cap strip is designed for sealing the ABgene® range of Thermo-Strips and 96 well PCR plates. Thermo-Pierce will be of interest to laboratories where contamination is an issue. It provides 100% sealing, but allows for the withdrawal of the reaction mix without generating the contaminating aerosols sometimes caused by the removal of standard, non-piercable caps. All piercable caps are cleanroom produced and certified free from DNase, RNase and human genomic DNA contamination.
