QIAGEN Inc.TA Magnetic Agarose Beads combine the power of Ni-NTA with the convenience of magnetic-bead technology. They offer greater flexibility in capture-assay design and allow immobilization of structurally and functionally active 6xHis-tagged proteins for improved reproducibility and sensitivity. Use of 10–50 µl magnetic-bead suspension in microplate wells allows capture of 3–15 µg 6xHis-tagged protein (24 kDa) for a wide variety of assays. Applications include assay of biomolecular interactions between proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids, as well as high-throughput micro-scale protein purification.
