The POLARstar Omega is a multidetection microplate reader with Tandem Technology - highly sensitive filter based detection in all detection modes (fluorescence polarization, fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence, TR-FRET, AlphaScreen®, Luminescence) and ultra-fast UV/Vis spectrometer based absorbance capable of capturing a full absorbance spectrum (220 to 1000 nm) at a resolution of 1 nm. Read times faster than 1 second per well are possible.
