LabAssay Glucose is the reagent kit for assay of glucose based on an enzymatic method with a combination of mutarotase and glucoase oxidase. The kit is used for the quantitative determination of glucose in mouse serum, plasma or urine.
alpha-D-Glucose and beta-D-glucose in solution maintain equilibrium in a constant ratio. Glucose oxidase reacts only with â-D-glucose and does not react with á-D-Glucose. Therefore, alpha-D-Glucose is converted into beta-D-glucose using mutarotase.
LabAssay Glucose is the reagent kit for assay of glucose based on an enzymatic method with a combination of mutarotase and glucoase oxidase. The kit is used for the quantitative determination of glucose in mouse serum, plasma or urine. It is a simultaneous multi-sample assay format using a microplate, but measurements can also be made using a test tube.
