Thermo Fisher Nalgene Announces Single Source For Tanks And Liners In Single-Use Applications

Thermo Fisher announces a series of Tank Liners created specifically for use with NALGENE® Brand Cylindrical Tanks applicable to single use biopharmaceutical and diagnostic reagent fluid processing.
This easy-to-use, disposable fluid handling system reduces the time and labor involved in cleaning due to its open top, flat bottom design. Ken Falkowitz, director of marketing for Bioproduction and OEM products noted, "Our development of the tank liners came about through requests from our customers, We now offer a single source solution for liners and tanks."
Nalgene single-use tank liners use co-extruded low-density polyethylene film that is certified to be animal derived component-free (ADCF). Nalgene offers ten different sizes, ranging from capacities of 5 gallons (19 liters) to 200 gallons (787 liters). NALGENE Tank Liners come either in non-irradiated or gamma irradiated (25 to 40 kGy styles.
These products are designed and manufactured for companies producing high value products. The tank liners are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, food-grade and compliant with the USP Class VI. Each Nalgene Tank Liner is individually packaged in heat sealed double poly-lined carton to preserve contamination-free delivery to the point of use.
