IDT Offers Pre-Designed And Custom Assays, Primers And Probes For qPCR

Providing advanced algorithms to optimize any amplification

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), the world leader in oligonucleotide synthesis, provides a broad range of custom qPCR assays, primers, and probes. PrimeTime qPCR Assays are available in three different sizes (Mini, Standard, and XL) and provide the forward and reverse primers, as well as a hydrolysis probe in a single tube. Primers and probes are also available separately, including the new Double-Quenched Probe which increases accuracy and sensitivity through the incorporation of an internal ZEN quencher. As such, users are provided with an option to meet any experimental requirements.

PrimeTime qPCR Assays allow users to select from multiple dye-quencher combinations, as well as define primer:probe ratios to optimize experimental set-up. Each oligo undergoes 100% QC by mass spectrometry and is shipped in 2–4 days of order.

IDT offers PrimeTime Mini qPCR probes, which are ideal for gene expression screens. Mini probes are offered with a 5' FAM and the option of a 3' IBFQ quencher alone, or in combination with the internal ZEN quencher. Users can also purchase Express probes, which are shipped in one working day, making them ideal for time-sensitive laboratories.

IDT now also offers PrimeTime Pre-designed Assays that are guaranteed to work for human, mouse, and rat. Users routinely experience increased sensitivity and higher qPCR efficiency when using these Assays. The design process uses the most current, clean, and complete target sequence information available and stresses accurate Tm prediction and protection against off-target amplification. The ordering system contains Assays designed to target exon boundaries for every human, mouse, and rat transcript in the NCBI database.
