The organizers of the symposium invite industry, academia, government, and other organizations to share breakthrough innovations that have the potential to revolutionize the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries. The objective is to facilitate collaboration along the supply chain to facilitate the integration of more sustainable chemistry in these industries. The symposium shares new technology and applications as well as ground breaking research in a setting that encourages networking and benchmarking. Focus areas for this symposium include green organic synthesis, biotransformations and biological drug processing, and enabling technology platforms. Survey results from past symposia have been overwhelmingly positive including: 95% of survey respondents stated they would recommend the symposium to others. 100% of respondents stated the symposium met their expectations. 95% of survey respondents hoped to attend the 3rd symposium.
